Can MCleaner be installed on unjailbreak iPHone? No. MCleaner can only be installed on jailbreak iPhone. It is used unofficial SDK to develop,so cant be host by Appstore.
Why I cant find MCleaner on Cydia? MCleaner on Cydia is host by iSpazio.Please go to Cydia-Manage-Sources, to see whether “iSpazio” is there or not. If not,please add the source address:cydia.ispazio.net.
Can MCleaner be instlled by installer4.0? No.Cydia is the only way we offer at the present.
I have paid through paypal,however, I haven’t got the serial number yet. Is there any thing wrong? The serial number is sent by email, so it is possible that you may not get the email. Please go to www.mcleaner.com/support.shtml and check it by yourself. If this still doesn’t help, please email us: sales@mcleaner.com.
Paypal is not available in my country, is there any other way to pay you? Please email sales@mcleaner.com, tell us your country, we’ll offer you the available way.
After I have purchased MCleaner and activated it, is there a time limitation? No. For each activated MCleaner, you can enjoy lifetime usage and free update.
Can I transfer my license to another device? The license file is based on the unique IMEI number of your device and can be used exclusively on the device it is purchased for.
What is IMEI? The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit code used to identify an individual GSM mobile station to a GSM network. You can retrieve your IMEI number by typing *#06# on your iPhone.
I have paid for the serial number, however, it says that activation failed. Why?
There have 2 possibilities for this:
1. you offered us the wrong IMEI
2.The version you installed is not the official version.

How to uninstall MCleaner? (For fm 2.x)
1.go to the springboard of iPhone, find Cydia and enter
2. click “Search”
3. find MCleaner in “Search”, and click MCleaner
4. in MCleaner, click “Modify” on the top-right corner
5. choose “Remove” and go to the following interface, click “Confirm” on the top-right corner
6. click “Reload”and go back to the Springboard, uninstallation is completed.
--------Upgrade--------
Will I lose my settings if I upgrade the application? No. Since MCleaner 1.5.2 all the settings and logs will be kept automatically when MCleaner is upgraded.
Do I need to pay for the upgradation of MCleaner? No, the upgradation of MCleaner is free.
How can I save the settings and logs myself?
1. export: Connect your iPhone to PC, open /private/var/mobile/Library/MCleaner, export and save mcleaner.cfg and mcleaner.db.
2. import: import the 2 files to the original file, change the propery as 0666.
--------Using the product--------
Can you explain the working mode on the main interface of MCleaner? How can I use it? “Normal” is the default mode, MCleaner blocks calls and SMS according to whitelist and blacklist and settings; “Profile” adopts the block rule in profile mode; “Sched” blocks in accordance with the block rule in scheduler mode; “Disable” is to stop MCleaner.
When MCleaner have blocked calls or SMS, is there any cue? There will be an icon of SMS or call in default. What’s more, MCleaner also offers sound and vibrate options for you to choose.
What’s Blacklist? How to use Blacklist?
Blacklist means to block SMS or call from a certain number.
The usage of Blacklist: add the number or key words you want to block into Blacklist, choose to apply to call or SMS, then go to “Settings”, set Blacklist as“Block” in “basic options”, and the “working mode” as “Normal”,in this way, all numbers in blacklist will be blocked.
Key words means: the SMS you want to block contains the key words.
Why all the contacts with blacklisted numbers are kept automatically in MY Logs? this is the default setting. It is specially designed for your personal contact with someone.
Is it possible to block numbers from an area if I add an area code to blacklist? Yes,it is available. E.G. add 031* to blacklist, all numbers start with 031 will be blocked.
In Settings, there is an “Ignore” option for Blacklist, what does this mean? “Ignore” means relative rules with Blacklist are not valid. There are similar options with “Whitelist”, “Blacklist”, and “Contacts”. In “Whitelist”, “Accept” means to receiver all calls and SMS in whitelist; “Ignore” means whitelist is invalid. Blacklist and Contacts: “Accept” means to receive all calls and SMS in contacts, “Ignore” means Contacts is invalid, it is treated the same as unknown numbers.
What is Whitelist? How to use Whitelist?
Whitelist means calls and SMS you want to receive from some numbers, besides “Contacts”.
The usage of Whitelist: Add numbers or key words in whitelist. If you don’t want Whitelist work in a certain period, you can set it to “Ignore” in Settings.
What does Key Words mean? Once you set key words in Whitelist or Blacklist, any SMS contains the key words will be accepted or blocked in accordance with Whitelist or Blacklist.
What is Private Number? Hidden Number means numbers that don’t show the exact number.
What is Unkown Number? Unkown Number means numbers are not included in Whitelist/Blacklist or Contacts.
How to set block all calls only, but not SMS? Set Whitelist, Blacklist and Contacts as “Ignore”, “Unknown Calls” set as “Block”, “Unknown SMS” set as “Accept”.
How to set block all SMS but not calls? Set Whitelist, Blacklist and Contacts as “Ignore”, “Unknown Calls” set as “Accept”, “Unknown SMS” set as “Block”.
How to delete blocked logs?
1.in My Logs, you can delete one by one
2. click “Modify”—“Clear”, all logs will be deleted.
How about the Logs Kept Period? The default kept period is 2 months; you can change it in Settings.
In blocking mode, does it charge for the replied SMS to blocked numbers? The replied SMS is the same as the normal one, MCleaner will not charge for it, but the provider will.
Why “Reply SMS automatically” doesn’t work when there is call blocked? If the same number calls several times in 15 minutes, MCleaner will reply one SMS only as default.
Why there is connect tone when the call is blocked? Connect tone means when call is blocked, the caller will hear a normal sound first, then is the blocked tone. Connect Tone is a general problem that all third party apps developers cant solve completely, it has something to do with the net. In some particular situation, there is no connect tone. MCleaner has tried best,and many users say this problem is solved.
In blocking mode, why there is no“Vacant Number” or “Power Off” ? MCleaner doesn’t offer the blocking mode of divert calls, so there is no such blocking mode option.
Why some of the blocking mode will turn to voicemail? This has something to do with the net of provider. E.G. In America, the net of AT&T has this problem. However, the option “ Accept and Hang up” has already solved this problem.
What should I do if I forgot my password?
1. uninstall MCleaner
2. Connect iPhone to PC, delete the file MCleaner under /private/var/mobile/Library/
3. Reinstall MCleaner
What is Profile Mode, how to use it? Profile Mode is quick way of blocking. According to different occasions, you can change the working mode of MCleaner temporarily. If you want the preset Profile Mode to work, you should change the working mode as “Profile” on the main interface. Each Profile can be edited or deleted, also you can add a new profile mode yourself.
What's the difference between Profile and Normal? Profile is a quick way to block, it can be temporarily changed according to different situations. Normal consists of Blacklist, Whitelist and Settings.
What is Scheduler? How to set Scheduler correctly? Scheduler can block according to time period. Different blocking rules can work for different time period. Scheduler Mode will work if you change it in the working mode. For more details of the usage of Scheduler, please refer to the instructions.
I would like to make MCleaner reject my video calls as well. Can this be done? MCleaner can’t do this at the present.
--------Other--------
The trial period of 15 days is over, can it be extended? The trial period for MCleaner is 15 days. You can’t use it any longer after the trial period if you don’t activate it. There is no extension of the period.
Can MCleaner block MMS? MCleaner can’t do this temporarily.
How to change the language of MCleaner? Follow the next steps: Settings—General—International—Language, once the language of iPhone is changed, the language of MCleaner is changed at the same time.
